Are You Psychic?  

This question is asked the most people.  Some have been told ‘only certain people are psychic’.

Well this is good news for everyone out there, ‘Yes’ everyone is psychic.  The only restriction is how far you develop, some will be Mediums some will be Healers, and some will have more than one gift.  Those who learn to understand and use their abilities from an early age, natural born Mediums, are the lucky ones but they can still develop, those of you like me with a gift and didn’t understand it but used it naturally we also have to learn and develop it, those who don’t know about their gifts and have never used it have to work harder to develop. The latter may only be able to develop their instincts and communicate with their loved ones but they can still develop

Although others may disagree I believe we all have the potential to go as far as we want as long as we are prepared to work for it.  We decide our lives before we come down and we may have decided not to accept Spirit, even in this situation things can change (free choice) and they might develop Spiritually e.g.  You decide not to accept Spirit before you come to the material plain as you have lessons that you must do on your own without the help of Spirit, you have learned your lessons quickly and are able to move on to other lessons, with the new lessons Spirit can now help you so you will start to accept new ideas like there being Spirit.

If people have decided not to believe in Spirit, there is no point in trying to persuade them otherwise, let them be everyone has free choice.  I have met mediums who try to force their ideas and beliefs onto others.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT.

Even if you know you are right it is for the sitter to understand the information not you, they might take the information in a different way from you e.g. I gave a reading saying ‘every one is coming out of woodwork’ meaning – people you have not seen for ages or met coming up to you like your best friend.  The sitter took it to mean everyone was being thrown out of her woodwork class at school. I find the best way to deal with this kind of situation is to leave it with them e.g. giving a brother in Spirit and the sitter does not accepting the information, see if there is someone they can ask or ask them to think about it.

I find putting a seed into somebody’s mind works better e.g. the sitter is very obstructive with arms and legs crossed adamant you can’t change their mind – I would give them something that only they would know (describe their house, a conversation, people in Spirit) and let them go away and wonder how you could know that information.  You might not see any results this way but if you force any information on to them they will never place it because they will become more defensive (closing their channels) and arrogant. Remember people don’t always understand everything in the reading till much later, even days or years later.

Development won’t happen over night and it can be very frustrating, you will have highs and lows but I have found that the benefits, if done properly, can be more rewarding.

To do anything Spiritual I feel you need to meditate, although some people do not meditate I feel it is their loss.  Don’t hurry and let it happen naturally, become more aware of your surrounding, listen to your inner self (the voice you argue with inside your head).

You can develop on your own but it can be overpowering especially if you are new to Spirit.  I have made this site so that anyone can develop and have someone to answer their questions.  Development through circles and churches can be a good thing but remember just because they call themselves

a ‘Spiritualist’ doesn’t mean they are always 'Spiritual'.  

I have found that that there are not a lot of circles and when you do find one, they are almost impossible to join, circles don’t always teach they usually just go over what you already know.  Churches can be very closed especially to someone new.  So just be careful.

If you want to develop and don’t have anyone to support you, now you do and it us up to you how far you want to go.

I often get 'I can't do this' or 'I am not psychic' when I say 'Everyone is psychic', in order to prove this is true during demonstrations I often get someone who is new to Spiritualism and doing readings and help them to do a 'colour reading' also called 'ribbons' and to date I have not had someone who didn't get some information for the sitter.  You can come and learn this in the chat room, just ask and I will help you.
