Gifts

There are different gifts that we get from Spirit, some may only have one some may have more than one.  Often we have one main gift that can be enhanced by others.

There are three main gifts we use from Spirit which I will cover first then I shall go over a few of the lesser known or spoken of gifts we can have.

Different countries and people use different names for different gifts, although the names don't really matter, I am giving the names used for each gift and explaining what each means as this can cause a lot of confusion and hope this helps you to understand them better.

Psychic  Everyone is psychic, this is when we pick up on the person, we read their aura, telling us about the person their past, their present, health, Spiritual development, it tells us about the person and their life.

Clairvoyance  Clear sight, seeing spirit through our third eye, usually seen when eyes are closed although can be seen with eyes open.  Through the third eye we may see pictures, people, objects or lights.  A lot of what we see has to be translated or understood as sometimes it can be symbolic or cryptic. To start it is best just to say what you see and let the sitter decide what the picture means.

Clairaudient  Clear hearing, this is when we hear Spirit speak to us as you would another person, you may hear words and voices from those who have passed over as well as noises even though you are the only person who can hear them.  The words and voices may be in different languages so can be hard to understand or translate.

Clairsentience  Clear feeling, when you are able to feel or sense Spirit even if your other senses do not confirm this.  You may feel emotions or pains that are not yours or feel like you are being watched or someone is in the room with you even though you are alone. 

Healers are often clairsentient as they feel the pain of those they are healing, you may also find that healers are clairvoyant as they heal the MIND body and soul and clairvoyance can help them if the problems are to do with the mind that are affecting the body at that time. We are not doctors and don't diagnose healers work with the medical profession not in place of them, if there is a serious condition advise the person to seek medical help immediately.

Mediums  This is a person who speaks direct to the Spirit of the person passed, they can tell you all about their memories, job, life, illness, experience and bring guidance and comfort to the living.  With Spirit contact unlike the other gifts we can interact with Spirit, we can talk to them ask questions and get answers. Mediums prove 'life after so called death' they prove that the Spirit is eternal. Spirit let us know they are with us, although there is always a reason they come to speak to us even if just come to say 'hello' and let us know they are still with us and alright.

Psychic Drawing  This is when the person can draw pictures of people and guides in Spirit that can be recognised by others. Psychic drawers often work with medium who give a reading about the Spirit and the psychic drawer has a picture of the person in Spirit who is giving the message.

Remote Viewing  This is when someone clairvoyantly can see places, people and what is happening at that moment in another place or country without actually visiting or being there. This can happen if you are sitting at home and something happens to a loved one who may be miles away, you may see what is happening clairvoyantly. Unlike Astral Travelling you can not interact or communicate with this method.

Astral Travelling  Astral travel and remote viewing can often be mixed up. Where with remote viewing we don't actually leave where we are, astral travel is when the Spirit leaves the body and goes to the place or person regardless of distance. Because it is your Spirit that travels, you can interact and communicate with people. Many healers Astral Travel, they visit the person they have been sending healing to, as they are not able to be with them in person to do the healing so their Spirit goes to the person to help continue with the healing. We are not always aware when we Astral Travel. Healers are often told that they have visited people during sleep state.

Automatic Writing  When the person gets information, poetry, philosophy from Spirit but is written down, automatic writing the Spirit takes control of you hand and you are not aware of what is being written, if automatic writing you don't even need to look when writing, the Spirit does this, often the writing is in the same hand writing and words the Spirit would have used and can be recognised.

Clairempathy  This is a kind of telepathy, when you pick up others emotions or attitudes. This gift is very easy to confuse with psychic ability but it is different, with empathy you pick up what the person feels towards a situation not what is best for them.

Clairscent  When the person experiences smell fragrances, odours, food etc. If someone passed who use to smoke a pipe you may smell smoke pipe to let you know they are around you.

Clairsavorant  When you experience tastes in the mouth. If someone use to make soup you may taste this in your mouth when they are around you.

Clairscent Diagnosis  When you pick up or detect a disease from someone. Each physical disease has an etheric odour of it's own and can be smelled. If someone has cancer they have a certain odour that can be picked up if you have this ability. We do not diagnose people as we are not doctors so would send them to the medical profession who will be able to help with this condition.

I am not sure of the name that would be used for this gift as I have only come across it once, it is when readings are being given by people through music instead of words, the music is played and expresses you emotions and feelings at that time in your life, it is amazing to hear and the music is just for you it is personal and different for everyone and the music is never the same twice. Mike Rowan who does this can be found on the internet, he also does music to meditate too.

The word 'clair' is used in front of many names given for our gifts, this is the French word for 'clear'. So 'clairvoyance simply means 'clear sight'.
