Meditation
This is the way I
find it easiest to meditate, you can adapt it to yourself.
Meditation is the answer to all your questions. It not only relaxes us, it also helps us find our true self, which makes things clearer and our problems become smaller and less important, it also makes the link between us and Spirit and our Spirit guides stronger and helps us understand what we are being told .
Anyone can do it.
First you need a quiet room, preferably with peaceful music, not the kind you sing along too. Music of nature is the best, watch for water music if you have bladder problems.
Either dim the lights as low a possible or in the dark if you prefer. Candles can add to the atmosphere.
Make sure you won’t be disturbed; it can cause a nasty shock. Turn off phones, watches etc.
A hardback chair is preferable but a normal chair will do, you can lie on the bed or floor if you feel more comfortable.
It is important to remember not to cross your arms or legs as this can block the channels.
When you first meditate you should only sit for 10 minutes eventually going to 20 minuets maximum.
It is better to have someone watch you while you meditate especially at the beginning.
Now we can begin.
Always start and close in a prayer to ask you guides for protection.
Close your eyes.
Clear your mind of ever day things like work, tea, going out etc.
Focus on the music, your breathing, and picture a rose or loved one in Spirit e.g. Imagine a rose in your mind, try to see it. If everyday things start to come in think of the rose again or concentrate on you’re breathing (see Breathing Exercise).
The body will start to relax.

Listen to every sound, feel every sensation, see every shape. Ask questions about problems, family, who is there etc.
Listen for answers, they come as thoughts. Shapes can become people a sensation can be a touch from Spirit.
After 10 minuets find a way to come back, the best way I have found is to listen to my tape and remember the sounds or notes. If someone is with you they can whisper to you when your 10 minuets are up.
Take your time to come back as rushing can leave you disorientated. Always open your eyes last.
Don’t rush things, it gets better every time you do it and you should soon find it will become quicker and easier.
Be responsible it is serious.
The only problem I have found is that I don’t want to come back again. If you find it hard to come back concentrate on material e.g. noises outside, clock’s ticking. Move your fingers and toes.
Someone who is in the room can give you a material voice to focus on. If they are going to touch you they must let you know before hand. They must give clear instructions.
If there is anything you don’t like at any time ask your Spirit guide to take it away.
Meditation is the way to Spiritual development.
Update:
People worry that they will not be able to come back if they meditate, in all my years and with those I have met the only problem when meditating is that you don't want to come back, the feeling of Love and Peace is so overwhelming.
Some people say they can't meditate as they 'fall asleep'. With Spirit time does not exist, no hours, days, weeks and years, so sometimes we get the feeling we have fell asleep, as 5 minutes can seem like an hour and an hour can seem like 5 minutes.
Most people think we meditate just for contacting our Spirit guides and loved ones but there is so much more to meditation. So if you don't have contact with Spirit during meditation don't be upset you might get a lot more than you expected.
It is alright to meditate on your own although I feel this is a lot to do with trusting Spirit. After looking deeper into the subject the worse thing that can happen is you fall asleep.
If you have problems sleeping meditating at night or in bed can help us to get a peaceful nights sleep, remember to say prayer to close when you wake up.
When you feel comfortable or if you have problems meditating this way then try the walkthrough meditation.
Good Luck
