Tarot
I find most people can do the tarot cards, the only thing about the way I am about to show you is the better the picture on the card the more you can get from it.
You have read the book, kept the cards under your pillow but still got nowhere. Well throw away your books.
To
start you can just use the major arcana, they are 0-21. When you become more
comfortable move on to all the cards.
You can use the colours, the name, if it has astrology, the pictures a bit like clairvoyance. To start you will be using an aura link and can be used with or lead onto a Spirit link. I let people touch my cards but it is up to you. The same with the reverse, if you want it to be opposite or bad then go ahead, personally I don't bother.
Tarots are tools like ribbons and the colours are based on the same as the ribbons. Remember though every time you go back to a card or colour it changes.
The way I am about to show you is basics so you still need to use your instincts e.g. you are given a heart-you still have to decide if it is broken, their heart, friends heart, mother's heart, meat, a locket, love from Spirit etc.

The Star - Purple is the first colour I see, purple means Spirituality to me. Then I see the stars which means night to me. The two together would be Spirit are in your dreams.
Next time it might mean - the blue looks like water, like someone has cried a puddle of tears, she is wearing pink which means to me love . The two together would mean there has been upset in a relationship and there has been someone crying over it (either Spirit or material).
Next time - I see blue for healing, The hills look like green lips, which makes me think of illness (Spirit can manipulate your eyes to see things that are not there, if this happens don't blink, same as with transfiguration). There is red around the bottom part of her body which says to me pain. Together someone is having problems with there legs and healing is being sent and they are dry mouthed.
Strength
- the first thing to jump out at me
is the lion, the lady is leaning against the lion meaning support. The next
thing is the dress looks Chinese meaning a Chinese guide. Together they mean
someone is needing support and Spirit, a Chinese guide is helping.
Next time - I see orange for frustration and the green for knowledge. The person looks like a man this time. Together there is a boy who is having problems with collage or education.
Next time - The lion looks like a cat meaning someone is being catty. Someone seems to be holding the cat back meaning they are not saying what they want. Together someone is being annoyed by another person but is stopping themselves from saying anything.
The more you do the cards the more you will get, you don't have to use all the items in the picture even if it is only one item per card to start with.
The easiest layout to do is the three card spread.

Past Present Future
Past - Taurus - someone stubborn and headstrong, the sun is looking down unhappily meaning to me they make people unhappy.
Present - Moon - moon and stars mean night time, the moon looks like it is on a pillow (see the lines come off the moon like creases in a pillow) meaning to me peaceful.
Future - Sun - the sun is unhappy so someone is down (unhappy) also there are grey clouds also saying someone is depressed. The cloud has a silver lining.
Together - in the past someone has been stubborn and headstrong causing misery on those around them. Spirit is showing them in their dreams the person who upset them and letting them know they realise what they did and want to make things better for them now. The past has been unhappy but there is a silver lining and things will turn out for the best.
If you sense or hear Spirit use that as well, I find the cards gives me my link and then Spirit come forward. People do use normal playing cards but I have never mastered that so I am afraid I can not help. If you have an easier way to work, then do it.
This can also be used for other kinds of tarot cards, like 'Angel cards'.
Hope you followed everything, if not let me know.
These are only guide lines.
